Overview

The Rutgers Entrepreneurial Society is an organization based on the mission of bringing together visionary, like-minded student entrepreneurs and providing them with the tools and resources to develop their skills in Business and Entrepreneurship. Founded by five University students: Mikhail Naumov, Benjamin Lapidus, Melissa Lee, Janaki Shah and Austin Suen, the idea of starting this organization came to Naumov, the society's president and founder, during the 2008 spring semester when he realized the University was in need of an outlet for entrepreneurial education. Like the society's motto, Think Big, the Rutgers Entrepreneurial Society is charting an ambitious agenda for the future. This includes large scale events featuring successful entrepreneurs, business plan competitions, and site visits to innovative entrepreneurship facilities and business incubators. The organization relies on its ambitious membership as well as strong community connections to further entrepreneurial education at Rutgers University. By inspiring and assisting students in their endeavors, the Rutgers Entrepreneurial Society seeks to make continuous positive contributions to Rutgers University and the community at large.
