You can get involved with the Rutgers Entrepreneurial Society in various ways:
Become a Member:
"Our diverse Membership is a clear representation of the entrepreneurial potential at Rutgers University."
As a Member you may:
-Join our official Listserv to receive updates about events and weekly meetings
-Attend meetings and participate in exciting projects and networking opportunities
-Receive access to the Student Entrepreneur Lab located on the Seventh Floor of the CoRE Building on Busch Campus
-Enter the Annual Rutgers Business Plan Competition
-Receive priority section seating at our University-wide events
-Receive access to our Archive of resources for business and entrepreneurship
-Take part in shaping the future of our Premier Student Business Organization
Join the Management Team:
"Our Management Team is a group of assertive campus leaders and student-experts in various disciplines such as web design, law, accounting, business, event planning and creative art."
-Become a Manager by submitting an application and being selected through an interview process
-The Management Team is currently assembled. If you think there is a need for a new position on this Team please submit an inquiry to RUEntrepreneur@gmail.com
-Applications for positions will become available in June 2009
Join a Committee:
"Our Committees include Creative Design and Public Relations and comprise of students with distinctive interest in either art & creative design or marketing & promotion."
-Join a Committee by submitting an application to RUEntrepreneur@gmail.com
-Committee Members are selected at the beginning of each academic year
-Applications for Committee Membership will become available in June 2009
Join us for a Speaking Engagement:
-The Rutgers Entrepreneurial Society provides weekly opportunities for brief workshops to its Membership. We are looking for professionals from various industries to share their experiences with our Student Members.
-If you would like to speak or participate in one of our meetings or events please contact us at RUEntrepreneur@gmail.com
-We welcome your expertise as well as sales pitches at our meetings. We would love to learn from experienced practitioners such as yourself!
Become a Judge:
-If you have experience judging business plan competitions and would like to get involved with one of ours please email RUEntrepreneur@gmail.com
Become a Mentor:
-By becoming a Mentor to an aspiring student entrepreneur you are making a direct impact on the future of our world
-Our Mentor-Mentee Program will match up motivated students with
accepting successful entrepreneurs to assist in building professional relationships
